Exam Notification

• Notification of exam will be announced in the All India Radio and Doordarshan
• Candidates can avail the exam details from the official websites of All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan (DD)

Application Procedure

• Candidates can get the application from the State Bank of India by cash payment. Application forms can be obtained from the Prasar Bharati offices also.
• Demand draft of application fee amount in favour of "Prasar Bharati(BCI)" payable at New Delhi along with the filled application form should be sent to
  Chief Engineer(Training),
  Staff Training Institute(Technical),
  AIR & Doordarshan, Kingsway,
  Delhi-110009.

Age Limit

• Age should be 18-27 years on the month of year of the examination.
• Age relaxation is available for candidates those who belong to SC/ST/OBC/Persons with Disabilities and Departmental candidates.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree with physics as one of the subjects from a recognized university
• Diploma in Radio /Telecommunication /Electrical /Electronics /Information Technology /Electrical Communication Engineering recognized by the Government of India
• Diploma in Sound recording and Sound Engineering awarded by Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. Knowledge of Wireless or Radio Engineering will be desirable

Written Test

• Subject paper
• This section consists of 175 objective type questions based on the syllabus of three years i.e Diploma courses or B.Sc. Physics.
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs
• This section consists of 25 objective type questions on general knowledge and current affairs.

• One mark is deducted for each wrong answer

Exam Results

• Results will be declared by the respective Zones separately through the "Employment News"
• Results will also be available on the official website of All Indian Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan (DD) mentioned above
