Qualification for Safety Function

A recognized degree in any branch of engineering or technology and practical experience of working in a building or other construction work in a supervisory capacity for a period of nine years and should possess a recognized degree or diploma in industrial safety with at least one paper in construction safety (as an elective subject)
A recognized degree in engineering or technology and experience not less than 9 years in the field, dealing with the administration of Factories Act, 1948 or the Dock Workers (Safety, Health and Welfare) Act, 1986 or the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996.
A recognized degree in engineering or technology with an aggregate of 60% marks and experience not less than 9 years or should have undergone training in education, consultancy, or research in the field of accident prevention in industry or in any institution or an establishment dealing with building or other construction work

Following Qualification are applicable for Mechanical Engineering Posts in BHEL

Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Power Plant/Production/Industrial and Production/Mechanical Production and Tool/Thermal/Production Technology Manufacturing/Mechatronics/Manufacturing process and Automation/Manufacturing Technology.

Educational Qualification

Full time Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Civil/Instrumentation Engineering or Technology with an aggregate of 60% in all semesters from a recognized Indian University/Institute

Following Qualification are applicable for Electronics Engineering Posts in BHEL

Engineering Degree in Electrical/Electronics & Telecommunication/Instrumentation/Electronics & Instrumentation/Electronics & Power/Electronics Design & Technology/Electronics & Biomedical/Applied Electronics/Power Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electrical & Electronics/Industrial Electronics/Mechatronics/Electronics & Control.

Following Qualification are applicable for Electrical Engineering Posts in BHEL

Engineering Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation & Control/High Voltage/Power Systems & High Voltage/Electrical Machine/Electronics & Power/Power Electronics/Power Plant Engg./Energy.
